Sora pods — also called sororoca clusters — are the woody fruit capsules of plants in the Strelitzia family, relatives of the iconic Bird of Paradise. After the vibrant flower withers, a hard, three-lobed capsule forms; as it dries, it splits open to reveal the seeds, leaving behind the striking architectural structure known as the sora pod. These are the natural (unbleached) version, safe for aquarium and terrarium use. A dramatic addition to any blackwater or biotope aquascape on the botanical method.
